The Verdi Requiem in the memory of Princess Diana and Sir Georg Solti

Sir Georg Solti originally was scheduled to conduct this 1997 Royal Albert Hall performance of the Verdi Requiem in memory of Princess Diana, but passed away himself before the performance took place.

In the end Colin Davis conducted the performance in the memory of both Princess Diana and Sir Georg Solti.
