I wouldn&#39;t recommend the YNS DonG - the recording quality sounds compressed and very flat. My preference is for a real Baritone DonG to differentiate from Leporello and D&#39;Archangelo therefore is too dark for my taste. Also I don&#39;t find anything particularly interesting in either of the Basses interpretations (Pisaroni is Lep). Furthermore, I find DiDonato an unappealing and &#39;

I was just wondering if you have heard the yannick nezet-seguin don giovanni out just last year and what you thought of it? My favorite recording remains the Furtwangler live salzburg recording from 1953(?) But I&#39;m looking for a new recording (ideally with better sound).
